The Leaves Are Turning...

So as I look out of my window I can see the leaves are starting to change colour, perfect as inspiration for my latest ATC swap: Colours of Autumn.

Unfortunately, on re-reading about this swap, I have remember it is supposed to be a fabric swap, and although I have used muslin as part of the background, I don't think this would fit in with everybody else's so I will have to try something different and keep these as spares..maybe I should do something felted??

'M' & 'N' & Dragonflies

So I have been working like a Trojan trying to get as many ATCs as I can finished before I go to uni so I don't have to worry about deadlines for a while. Here are my next load of alphabet ATCs, and also my Dragonfly ones for a new swap.

Alphabet:

Not entirely sure about these, they are on a felt backing which is a lovely material to work with but not entirely sure about the success here. Thoughts?

Dragonflies:

These are possibly my favourite cards yet. A backing of tissue and painted muslin with some fancy yarn, leaf ribbon, bead sprays and lace flowers. The dragonfly is made from very thin black and green wires twisted together with green beads for eyes.
I almost don't want to give these away!

Angelic Triptychs

Lots of excitement this morning with the arrival of my triptych returns!!

This gorgeous card is by Sue, I photographed the back because that too is lovely! A really pretty idea!

This mysterious one is by Alison. This inside is an absolute treasure!

My final one is by Hazel with heavily textured, quite heavy card as a base, and with lots of glitterey dots inside!!

Paper Alphabet

I've been rushing around a bit over the last few days as suddenly my diary is full of things I have to do (like the trip to the dentist this morning- eurgh!), so I haven't yet gotten around to showing you the alphabet cards I made!
After looking at the ideas on the Internet, I decided to keep it simple and just use a paper collage technique.

I absolutely love my paper knickers! I think they look great!

I originally made this card to send off, but decided that it might confuse people with a butterfly on it, so made another one instead.
