RAB March Yellow

I was working on my yellow rainbow accordion book page over the weekend- continuing with the use of the yo-yos to carry my theme through all of the pages (sort of my signature style).

I also recieved my own in the post today from Sue- it has really interesting raised sections which could have been caused by string, although the flower shape at the bottom I have no idea as to what it is made from. I particularly like the text in it, makes the paper more interesting to look at.

The Last Snowflake

Phew! What a busy few weeks! I apologise for not updating you on all things small and postable sooner, but as there has been a sudden boom in production then I am sure to make up for it- more on that in another post.
The snowflakes have now all been received and swapped out. I have been a bit of a numpty and got so excited about swapping them all out that I forgot to photograph my own! So I may need to make some more to show you what they looked like. Anyway, here is the last of the entries for your perusal.

These little gems were created by Sue Horsley- aren't they lovely?

There were some issues in swapping out this swap, mainly because there were only 6 people in it (including myself) which wasn't enough to just give everyone one from everybody else, so some people had to have two from some people and it all got very complicated- I think I got it just about right in the end though. I ended up with two from Mary and two from Sue, one from Hazel and one from Wendy. It was a proper brain teaser though!!!

Snowflake Inchies

I have two more sets of Snowflake Inchies to show you. Both different approaches, although again I have no idea what kinds of techniques were used (both very clever ones I'm sure)

This one is by Mary, and I can't decide which side I like the best!! I think that the left hand image is the front and the right is the back but they are both really nice- if I keep one maybe I should have it dangling on a string so that it will rotate and I can see both sides.

And this one is by Wendy, who always does the most amazing little pieces of art. I especially like the white background ones because it looks a little like angelina fibres and sparkles in the sunlight.

Alphabet U & V

It's that time of month again! The return of the alphabet ATCs!! We are nearly to the end though, two more months to go and I will have a complete set! I will have to reorder my ATC folders so that they are all properly together.

This month's are from Wendy and Annie.

I really love the texture in the underwater one- it reminds me a bit of the Tangled in a Fish Net card by Marina that I got a few months ago, maybe that was where the inspiration came from.
